Bio
Neus is a Postdoctoral researcher working jointly in Paul Norman (University of Colorado) and Brenna Henn groups. She received her BSc degree in Human Biology and Msc in Bioinformatics from University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) in 2012 and 2018. She did her PhD at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology in Barcelona from 2017 to 2022. Her research interests broadly include understanding the genetic variation and demographic history of diverse human populations. Her work is currently focused on describing the HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) and KIR (Killer Ig-Like Receptors) diversity in historically excluded populations and investigating genetic admixture patterns in South African populations.
