Oshiomah joined the Henn lab in Fall 2020. He is using differential gene expression to investigate the host genetic risk factors for developing active TB infections in hunter gatherer groups of South Africa. He received a Masters of Evolutionary Medicine from UCLA in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMass Amherst in 2018. He is currently a PhD student in the Population Biology program.
