Japneet Kaur

Japneet is an undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in biotechnology with an emphasis on bioinformatics. She was drawn to this lab’s research on population genetics and its extensive focus on amplifying medical research surrounding underrepresented populations. She is excited to contribute to researching TB susceptibility in Sub-Saharan African populations and explore how genetic variation influences disease risk and health outcomes.
