Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Rochester in 2023 and joined the Henn Lab fall of 2023. Her research interests focus on understanding how different human genome builds influence RNA sequence interpretation, with the goal of improving transcriptomic analysis accuracy. Additionally, she is interested in characterizing the genetic diversity of the HLA region in understudied populations using comprehensive gene annotations to elucidate adaptive immune diversity.
